Got these for a trip through the Andes to Machu Picchu. Loved that they are made of wood and the lenses really stand out. Sometimes they seems to be lit from within. My friend also got them.

Good glasses.

Glasses feel cheap and don’t even sit on my face the way any other glasses would. Typically don’t leave reviews but I have gone through the process for a return and have heard nothing from their side.

Having been a customer for over 16 years, I have come to expect only the best from Optic Nerve. Over the years I tended to stay with a tried and true, repurchasing a model that I was familiar with and knew worked for me. This time I picked up the Contra because my model is no longer available and they have been great. The look and wrap-around feel are similar to those of the Oakley's at a fraction of the cost and I am still supporting Nerve. I appreciated the Memorial Day discount because we were then able to pick up a pair of Blackwater for me (they float) and Alpine for my wife.
Every pair gives clear sight and my wife has felt the same with hers as I have. Lightweight and great quality make for the right combination for her Alpine (review to come).
I appreciate the quality of Optic Nerve and they will continue to be my go-to eyewear as I have used them for training athletes, mountain biking, working in law enforcement, security work, and casual wear to name a few.
